Disturbing to see how many powerful people are unwilling to consider ANY Moscow offer as legitimate, & encouraging Ukraine to adopt cynical maximalism. They are dead set on seeing to it that there is a massive clash in Kiev.
These powerful people don’t care about Ukraine. They care about making Putin look bad for their own domestic political purposes (Democrats) or because of some general anti-Russian sentiment they hold (Neocons, GOP idiots). They don’t care how many Ukrainians die as a result.
They just invaded the country, again. Imagine a robber breaking into your house and offering you a ‘deal’. Imagine Mexico taking Texas, New Mexico and Arizona and offering you a ‘deal’.
