From Tim Wakefield‘s death at age 57, to Game 7 of the upcoming 2024 World Series, is 57 weeks on the nose. He played for two teams in his career, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Boston Red Sox. He won two World Series with Boston, in 2004 & 2007. The upcoming season is the ’24 season.
