Former President Donald Trump says he didn’t invite far-right activist Nick Fuentes to a dinner he hosted a Mar-a-Lago but that Kanye West had brought him along unannounced.

West had posted a video to Twitter on Thursday, asserting that Trump was “really impressed with Nick Fuentes.” West also claimed he asked Trump to be his vice president for a 2024 presidential campaign.

“This past week, Kanye West called me to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago,” Trump posted on Truth Social of the incident. “Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about. We had dinner on Tuesday evening with many members present on the back patio. The dinner was quick and uneventful. They then left for the airport.”

Trump did not name Fuentes, or any of West’s entourage, though the Washington Times identified him as present and pointed to reporting from timcast.com that included Trump’s former Florida chief strategist, Karen Giorno, as an attendee.

The outlet asserted that former Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopolous had “arranged” the additional guests who attended the dinner along the rapper.

Fuentes has been labeled a white supremacist and white nationalist, among other extremist designations. He is also a Holocaust denier, the Times asserted.
