DC politicians want to tell us that freedom in America rests on a 30 minute emergency response time for fire and rescue. 11 minutes is the national response time which is a far cry from average in my district of Missouri. Many roads are unmarked, hidden, or out of sight. In a situation where every second counts, one second is too many.

I don’t believe that the safest thing for my family is to sit and wait for someone else to come and protect us.

DC politicians want to tell us that freedom in America hangs on whether or not our emergency is important enough. With soaring gas prices, police are now forced to conserve gas by deciding what emergencies are the most important.

Who gets to determine what equates to a high risk situation, or a true emergency? DC wants to tell us the best way to protect our families is to trust them, yet they have done nothing to gain my trust over the last 18 months.

DC politicians want to tell us that freedom in America depends on trusting a computer algorithm to determine how to respond to a community’s needs. An algorithm that the FBI has forced upon police departments nationwide but has an underreporting factor of 40%.

And yet with such an inept system, homicide rose by 5%, aggravated assault by 8%, vehicle theft by 14%, and human trafficking by 35% in 2021.

Leftist liberal agendas, and the politicians who push them, are standing between the American people and their freedom. Washington has forgotten that they work for us. The United States of America is a republic that is governed by the people. Our will alone is represented by elected officials.

That is why the founders wrote the Second Amendment into the highest law of the land. They wrote it to ensure that the government would never infringe on our way of life. Our founding fathers wanted all citizens to defend themselves and take care of themselves. In fact, it is the will of the people to do so.

It is the second most important thing that our forefathers put into writing, the second amendment only so that we could use our free speech first to say that we needed guns.

This amendment is how we protect every single one of our God given rights. It’s how we protect our bodies, our voices, our homes, and our property. It’s how we defend our actions, how we protect against abuse, cruel punishment, and false accusations. The 2nd amendment gives us the right to be free.

I refuse to live in a society where we have no way to protect our personal bodily autonomy, our families, and our homes. A strong and civilized society is not one where its citizens are commanded to wait like sitting ducks. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

I’m Kyle LaBruean America-first Congressional candidate for Missouri’s 4th District, and I believe in protecting our families, our freedom, and the 2nd amendment. I will never compromise on any bill or proposal that restricts or limits guns or ammo. I will never tell you what is the best way to protect you and your family. That choice belongs to you.

Kyle LaBrue is running for U.S. Congress to represent Missouri’s Fourth District, specifically to put American interests before globalist and special interests, to hold those who have defiled America accountable, and to curb inflation and out-of-control government spending that is directly affecting the livelihoods of the people of Middle Missouri.
